VIEWFIRST TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern access to and use of the ViewFirst platform located at www.viewfirst.co.za.
By accessing, browsing, registering on, or using the Platform, all users agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
2. Platform Services
ViewFirst is an online marketplace connecting customers with suppliers offering:
- Property rentals
- Accommodation
- Vehicles
- Transport services
- Equipment
- Tools
- Event rentals
- Services
- Other rentable products
ViewFirst acts solely as a marketplace and booking facilitation platform.
3. Booking Fee
Customers may be required to pay a Booking Fee to secure a booking.
The Booking Fee:
- Forms part of the advertised rental amount.
- Is included in the advertised price.
- Is not an additional charge.
- Is deducted from the balance payable to the Supplier.
4. Booking Fee Refunds
The Booking Fee may be refunded where:
- The Supplier cancels the booking.
- The Supplier fails to deliver.
- The item or service materially differs from its advertised description.
- ViewFirst determines a refund is reasonable.
Approved refunds shall be processed within fourteen (14) calendar days.
Refund requests must be submitted within seven (7) calendar days after the booking date.
5. Arrival Grace Period
Unless otherwise agreed:
- A thirty (30) minute grace period applies to all bookings.
- Accommodation bookings may allow a sixty (60) minute grace period.
- No party shall be treated as a no-show during the applicable grace period.
6. Rescheduling
Customers may request rescheduling.
Default rules:
- More than 7 days before booking: Free reschedule.
- 3 to 7 days before booking: Subject to Supplier approval.
- Less than 72 hours before booking: Supplier discretion.
A booking may only be rescheduled twice.
Rescheduled bookings must occur within ninety (90) days of the original booking date unless otherwise agreed.
7. Cancellation
Unless otherwise stated by the Supplier:

8. No Show Policy
A Customer shall be deemed a No Show where the Customer:
- Fails to arrive after expiration of the grace period.
- Fails to communicate delays.
- Fails to attend a confirmed booking.
- Fails to collect a booked item.
No-show customers may forfeit their Booking Fee.
Repeated no-shows may result in:
- Account restrictions;
- Additional verification requirements; or
- Account suspension.
9. Limitation of Liability
ViewFirst acts solely as a facilitator.
ViewFirst is not responsible for:
- Product quality.
- Service delivery.
- Property condition.
- Vehicle condition.
- Injuries.
- Losses.
- Damages.
- Disputes between parties.
10. Privacy
ViewFirst shall process personal information in accordance with POPIA.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
12. Amendments
ViewFirst reserves the right to amend:
- Terms and Conditions
- Booking Fees
- Commission Rates
- Refund Policies
- Cancellation Policies
- Service Offerings
at any time.
Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of any revised terms.
VIEWFIRST SUPPLIER AGREEMENT
Between:
ViewFirst (Pty) Ltd
and
The Supplier
1. Appointment
The Supplier appoints ViewFirst on a non-exclusive basis as a marketplace, advertising, lead generation and booking facilitation platform.
2. Booking Fee and Commission
The Supplier acknowledges that:
- Customers may pay a Booking Fee to ViewFirst.
- The Booking Fee forms part of the advertised rental value.
- The Booking Fee constitutes ViewFirst’s commission.
- The Booking Fee shall be deducted from the balance payable to the Supplier.
Commission Structure

3. Offline Transactions
Where a Customer introduced through ViewFirst concludes a transaction directly with the Supplier outside the Platform, the Supplier shall promptly notify ViewFirst.
The Supplier shall provide:
- Customer details
- Booking details
- Transaction value
- Transaction date
ViewFirst may issue an invoice for any commission due.
4. Invoice Payment
Invoices issued by ViewFirst shall be payable within seven (7) calendar days from the invoice date.
Failure to pay may result in:
- Suspension of listings
- Account suspension
- Removal from the Platform
5. Circumvention
The Supplier shall not intentionally bypass ViewFirst in order to avoid payment of fees or commissions.
Customers introduced by ViewFirst shall be regarded as ViewFirst-generated customers for a period of twelve (12) months from the date of introduction.
6. Property Transactions
The Supplier acknowledges that property transactions may occur partly or entirely offline.
The Supplier agrees to act honestly and in good faith when reporting leases or rental transactions concluded with ViewFirst-introduced customers.
7. Supplier Responsibilities
The Supplier remains responsible for:
- Delivery
- Insurance
- Maintenance
- Deposits
- Rental Agreements
- Lease Agreements
- Regulatory Compliance
8. Termination
ViewFirst may terminate this Agreement for:
- Fraud
- Misrepresentation
- Non-payment
- Repeated complaints
- Breach of Agreement
9. Amendments
ViewFirst reserves the right to amend this Agreement at any time.
VIEWFIRST USER AGREEMENT
Between:
ViewFirst (Pty) Ltd
and
The User
1. Acceptance
By registering on ViewFirst, the User agrees to be bound by this Agreement and the Platform Terms and Conditions.
2. Booking Fee
The User acknowledges that:
- A Booking Fee may be payable to secure a booking.
- The Booking Fee forms part of the advertised rental amount.
- The Booking Fee is deducted from the balance payable to the Supplier.
- The User will never be charged more than the advertised rental price solely because of the Booking Fee.
3. Payments
The User shall:
- Pay the Booking Fee to ViewFirst.
- Pay the remaining rental balance directly to the Supplier unless otherwise instructed.
4. Cancellations
The User agrees that cancellation refunds shall be governed by ViewFirst’s Cancellation Policy.
5. Rescheduling
The User may request rescheduling subject to:
- Supplier availability;
- Maximum of two (2) date changes;
- Ninety (90) day rescheduling limit.
6. No Show Policy
The User agrees that failure to attend a booking after the applicable grace period may result in:
- Loss of the Booking Fee;
- Cancellation of the booking;
- Account restrictions.
7. User Responsibilities
The User shall:
- Provide accurate information.
- Act lawfully.
- Care for rented property.
- Return rented items on time.
- Comply with rental and lease conditions.
8. Privacy
ViewFirst shall process personal information in accordance with POPIA.
9. Limitation of Liability
The User acknowledges that ViewFirst acts solely as a marketplace and booking facilitator.
10. Amendments
ViewFirst reserves the right to amend this Agreement and any applicable policies at any time.
Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of any amended terms.
SUPPLIER RENTAL AGREEMENT
Effective Date: 17 October 2026
Between: ViewFirst Pty Ltd (“Marketplace”)
And: (“Supplier”)
1. Purpose
This Agreement sets forth the terms under which the Supplier will list, rent, and fulfill items (vehicles, tools, furniture, appliances, event gear, and business equipment) through the ViewFirst marketplace platform.
2. Supplier Obligations
The Supplier agrees to:
Accurately list and describe all rental items.
Ensure all items are legal, safe, and in working condition.
Arrange delivery or collection of rented items.
Honor warranties, service obligations, and return policies.
Communicate with renters only through the ViewFirst platform.
3. Marketplace Responsibilities
ViewFirst will:
Provide a platform for listing and renting items.
Facilitate secure escrow payments.
Verify suppliers during onboarding.
Handle renter–supplier communication through the platform.
4. Fees & Payment Terms
The full rental fee is payable by the renter into ViewFirst’s escrow account at the time of booking.
Upon confirmed delivery/collection, balance of the rental fee will be released to the Supplier.
ViewFirst retains commission on each successful rental.
Commission:
Under R10,000: 10%
R10,001-R50,000: 5%
Above R50,000: 2%
Supplier payouts will be processed within 7–14 business days after confirmation.
If the item is not delivered, the renter’s payment is refundable in full.
5. Delivery & Collection
The Supplier is responsible for delivery or collection arrangements.
Prices listed on ViewFirst are exclusive of delivery/collection costs unless otherwise stated.
Delivery charges must be clearly communicated to renters before booking.
6. Returns & Late Fees
Renters must return items in the agreed condition and timeframe.
Late returns may incur additional rental charges as specified by the Supplier.
Refunds for early returns are subject to Supplier approval.
Damages or loss of items during rental are the responsibility of the renter, unless covered by insurance.
7. Warranties & Insurance
The Supplier warrants that:
They are the legal owner of listed items or have authorization to rent them.
All descriptions are accurate and not misleading.
No item violates any law or regulation.
Insurance coverage (if applicable) is clearly stated in each listing.
8. Confidentiality
Both parties agree to keep confidential all proprietary information received under this Agreement.
9. Limitation of Liability
ViewFirst shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Total liability is limited to the commission earned on the disputed transaction.
10. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Disputes will be resolved in a court of competent jurisdiction.
11. Entire Agreement
This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the parties and supersedes all prior agreements. Any changes must be in writing and signed by both parties.
USER RENTAL AGREEMENT
Effective Date: 17 October 2026
Between: ViewFirst Pty Ltd (“Marketplace”)
And: [User/Renter Name] (“Renter”)
1. Purpose
This Agreement sets forth the terms under which the Renter may book, pay for, and use rental items (vehicles, tools, furniture, appliances, event gear, and business equipment) through the ViewFirst marketplace platform.
2. User Obligations
The Renter agrees to:
Provide accurate personal and contact information.
Use rental items responsibly and return them in the agreed condition.
Pay all rental fees, deposits, and delivery/collection charges upfront.
Communicate with suppliers only through the ViewFirst platform.
Not engage in fraudulent or unlawful activity on the platform.
3. Marketplace Responsibilities
ViewFirst will:
Provide a secure platform for booking rentals.
Facilitate escrow payments between renters and suppliers.
Verify suppliers during onboarding.
Handle renter–supplier communication through the platform.
4. Fees & Payment Terms
The full rental fee is payable into ViewFirst’s escrow account at booking.
Upon confirmed delivery/collection, the supplier will be paid its fee.
Refunds are issued if the rental item is not delivered or made available.
5. Delivery & Collection
Suppliers are responsible for delivery or collection arrangements.
Delivery/collection charges are payable by the renter unless otherwise stated.
Renters must be available at the agreed time and location for handover.
6. Returns & Late Fees
Rental items must be returned at the agreed time and condition.
Late returns may incur additional charges.
Damages or loss of items during rental are the responsibility of the renter, unless covered by insurance.
Refunds for early returns are subject to supplier approval.
7. Warranties & Liability
Suppliers may provide warranty or service terms for rental items.
ViewFirst acts only as an intermediary and does not own listed rental items.
Renters are responsible for ensuring suitability before booking.
ViewFirst is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
8. Privacy & Data Protection
Renter information is collected for account creation and transaction processing.
Personal data is securely stored and encrypted.
ViewFirst does not sell or share user data outside the marketplace ecosystem.
Renters may request deletion of their data at any time.
9. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Disputes will be resolved in a court of competent jurisdiction.
10. Entire Agreement
This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the parties and supersedes all prior agreements. Any changes must be in writing and signed by both parties.
